For what it's worth...

It seems like I can always rely on you guys for a wealth of information so here goes: our Youngest daughter moved to Jacksonville, FL and needs a job. She graduated with honors a chemical engineer from the University of MO. , Rolla and worked for Dial Soap in ST. Louis. The week before she got married this summer ,her husband ( also Chem. Engineer) was transfered by Anheyser Bush to Jacksonville, FL. He moved down there and bought a house and she stayed in St. Louis till the house they had just bought in St. Louis was sold and closed and she finished her projects at Dial. Poor kid is a workaholic and is all stressed out because she hasn't found a job. I've been doing internet job searches and find a million civil / electrical/structural engineer jobs in FLorida but no Chemical. :{ If any of you guys have any suggestions I would appreciate it. She called tonight all upset and said she went to the store today and all the people her age were at work somewhere and she was in a store with nothing to do but buy groceries in a store full of pregnant women and old people. if she doesn't find a job soon I'm going to have to wear out my Dodge taking her mother down there to give her a hug. Thanks guys.

I'm sure she probably won't want to hear it but this may be her chance to mend her workaholic ways. It's also a perfect chance for her to become a mom, join the other pregnant women in the market. At least she will learn patience, I'm sure something will popup given time, great that her husband has a good job.
