If V-8 6. 0L and 6. 4L engines are called a PowerJoke,

Then would a V-6 4. 5L be called a PowerChuckle?????

Had to see it to believe it.....

And by the way, what have we ever done to Texas to deserve this thing showing up here in Maine????????

I see the LCF from time to time, but I don't know how they've worked out compared to a 6-litre. They certainly didn't send Fuso and Isuzu back to the shores. Are they still made, as I don't believe that the 4. 5 engine was 2010 compliant, or if it's even being manufactured any more.

I don't think that they still are, this is the ONLY example I have laid eyes on.

The guy went down to Texas, bought it and brought it home a couple of years ago.

We only see it here because of the ThermoKing unit on it.

It is a weird little thing, the left hand window regulator pooched last fall and he ran it all winter with the glass sealed in the up position with packing tape because the new part was $300. 00!!!!!!

Tollbooths musta' been a b****... .

The cab was a joint venture between Ford and Mazda. Have to say one thing, it was reliable enough to make it from Texas to Maine! International also had their version of this truck, but I see even fewer of them than the Fords.

from Wikipedia:

"A variant off the VT365 is the VT275 4. 5 L V-6, which is basically a 6. 0 L V-8 with two cylinders chopped off. However, it uses a sequential twin-turbocharger system, instead of the single variable-geometry turbocharger used in the VT365.

It is used in the 2006 Ford LCF (Low Cab Forward) and International CF (Cab Forward) (later CityStar) series trucks. It produces 200 hp (150 kW) and 440 lb·ft (597 N·m) of torque and is backed by a Ford TorqShift 5 speed automatic.

For the 2007 model year, the VT275 was brought up to 2007 EPA emissions standards and renamed the MaxxForce 5.

It has since been discontinued for the 2010 model year. "

They still do. It used to be called the CF & is now called the CityStar. It has a V-6 diesel, but I don't know if it is the same as the one that was used in the CF & the Ford.
