Well, folks, here I am back at the TDR again, having wandered in the wilderness a few years with the likes of GM, Ford, and a couple of offshore brands. Looking forward to spending some time on here again. I'll admit that when I'm not driving the brand I drop out of sight.

Not her best side, I apologize for the photo quality but it's raining here today and I just took a quick one with the phone. It would rain here after I spent all day Sunday with the soap, clay, and wax. :{

Plans in the works so far are leveling and bigger tires. Beyond that, who knows?

Welcome back! Yeah the tires do look a little wimpy. ;) What size are they? Look like 16s but probably 17s.

Some aluminum wheels and taller/beefier tires will dress it up nice. Not that it looks bad. The truck looks good! :cool:

I ran my oringinal rims and size tire for 3 to 5 years( Senior Moment at a young age) then went to aluminum wheels and a taller tire.

Different subject. Where are you at in FL?

Welcome back Gary. The grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence.

Nice looking truck.

Bill, I am close to Fort Myers.

Those are 265/70/17. Not really a small tire, but too much truck on top of it I guess.

Last gen I had 35/12. 5/17 and a 3" lift. Looked nice but still had a bit of contact on the control arms.

Tomorrow this one will have 315/70/17 put on. Those are 34 and a bit.

HBS 2" leveling kit on the way. I elected to keep the nose down just a bit as I haul and tow quite a bit and I don't like the look of a truck that is nose high.

She is looking good guy!

GaryCarter, I have a brother that lives down that way.

I went to 265/75/16 from a 245/75/16, so your stock tires are about the same size as my up graded ones.

Here is a shot with the 315/70/17 on stock 7. 5 wheels.

Still looking at wheel options, but will most likely go with the 17x8 OEM wheel from an SLT, as I like the tires tucked in as opposed to hanging out. As far as I can determine there are no aftermarket rims with an offset close to stock (+1. 7")?

I will post up some proper pictures when the lift is on.
