I was wondering about that too.
You would more likely put a no-name filter in it Made in USA then a brand-name Made in Mexico?
Sounds odd to me. The Mexis make excellent products.

Remember the Mexico made trucks were always better quality. So just because it was made in Mexico doesn't mean that it's inferior

I have owned two 12V Made in USA trucks and that statement as far as my use is concerned does not add up. i have also owned three Mexico trucks. My son has my original 12V in TX with well over 400k and is in great shape the other 12V has nearly 500k and is owned now by a friends son and is still in great shape. The 11 Mexico truck was great thru 65k when traded on my current 15 and it has been good minus recalls. I also have a Mexico 01 Sport that has been good.

To be clear I did not mention anything about inferiority. Must be a reason they went back to a US supplier. Bottom line "I" will buy USA any day over import if possible and it's of good quality.

I trust AMZ/OIL to supply quality products, same goes to Banks. YES they are both more expensive than some but no one can say either puts out inferior products.

Like I said must be a reason then quit using the Mexican supplier.

I still have a case of Donaldson filters. Amsoil filters will probably be made in Mexico again by the time I need more.

Nothing but Amsoil signature series in my truck.

I will be posting results of a friends 13 oil report at 28k on the 15-40 Sig series. Last time he went either 23 or 24k and Blackstone said to go 1 or 2k longer. He forgot so we will see!

Looking forward to that post.

I’m running 5w40 and will probably change oil around 7-8k miles. I hate to think about what the egr is introducing to the engine cylinders and oil.
