Any one else see the Dodge special?

are you talking about the window glass ??

I have a pair out of a 98. 5 you can have. .come get 'em I'm near Yosemite Park. . 'bout 1 hour north

thank you willyslover

but my 97 has a bigger slider portion and your's won't work ..... but thank you for the offer. . I'm up here @ 7,000 feet and 4 hours away from you and I would drive it in a heartbeat because 475 for the whole unit is a ripp when all I need is the passenger side slider:(

auto glass

Try your local auto glass store - much less than dealer cost. At least they were when I replaced the rear window in a truck many years ago.

if you have a stock window with two slidders then they are the same I believe... is your aftermarket ??

The donor rig was a 98. 5 with factory dark rear twin windows. . they are on my work bench.

Rear slider window

:--) If you have the same slider as I do in my '96, it is the tinted single slider that opens to the left. Yeah, that baby is expensive. I broke it out twice loading firewood and coal before I finally got smart and got a headache rack. Guess im kinda a slow learner, huh. There is a place in Denver called Discount Auto Glass... my last one only cost me $253. 00:{

Brian:rolleyes:

mine is a double....

Mine slides to the left and right and each one is 12. 5" wide by 15. 5" tall and the dealers say's it is a 4 piece but auto glass shop's say 475 for the whole unit! I thought an old body style truck like mine would have cheap glass available

Carson:

Wow that it is a lot of coin for a no frills slider. I never would have guessed them to be that high. You might want to upgrade to a power slider. I saw one in a local windshield shop here last year made by CR Laurence or something like that. I looked at it and considered it until I found out the price was 450. 00. Figured having a power slider was not worth twice as much as the non power but I was assuming the stock one was around 200-250 based on previous slider purchases years ago. However if the stock one is that much or more if I ever have to replace mine I will certainly take a closer look at the power version.

aftermarket...

slider's should be a fraction of the price ... I like the stock one's because they have a curve (convex)that fit's the truck nicely but power sound's relly cool... Hey willyslover what do your slider's measure???mine are 12. 5x15. 5
