First time to this particular forum. Looking for advice on a back up camera for my truck. Disabled and tow a trailer every day. Hooking up is a job in it self. Hoping to pay less than $200. 00. Advice??????

Funny that you should bring this up. Today I was in Wally World and they had a wireless camera that mounts on the license plate with a small TV for the dash for $93.

The one at Wallyworld is the VR3 - - I've got one and its OK - - not great TV failed after 2. 5 years, so I bought another, origional camera still worked so I mounted the new camera on the front, and can watch while parking for clearance. Hooked camera to a switch

The camera has two wirescoming out of it, and a heavy (thick) section . Body ground the correct wire, and connect the positive wire to that usually goes to the backup light circuit, to a switch if you want an on off or hook it up to a ignition activated wire so it is on all the time. I've got my TV on the ignition, the rear camera to the back up lights and the front on a switch. DO NOT CUT THE HEAVY SECTION OF THE CAMERA WIRES, AS THIS SECTION IS THE ANTENNA.
