This tip was printed in the TDR Magizine already. Well after 3-4 years the Back-up light switch started to act up a couple of months ago and finally quit working.
So a couple of weeks ago I finally had time to slide under the Mule and pull it. I once again sprayed the connectors and ball(pushing the ball in and out, transmission fluid gets into the switch) with lubricating contact cleaner (cleans better then the conatct cleaner that dries) let them sit for a cople of minutes then sprayed them down with a contact cleaner that dries the connectors out.
Installed it and have back-up lights once again.
Total time 15 minutes and that includes getting the tools, contact cleaner ready and cleaning up.
