HEY! Thats me!

I mounted the rear lights on the leaf spring shackle bracket. This tucks it back behind (or in front??) of the bumper about a foot. El cheapo $15 driving/fog lights. I have found that the cheaper they are, the better they work. Mounting farther inside prevents them from disappearing when you back into a snow drift, or shrub.

Another angle. The light in the picture I have to replace. It got moisture inside from road splash back. The replacement has been sealed with black RTV around the lens and the rubber boot where the wires go in.

This is the front light/passenger. It is aimed just outside the rear tire. I mounted it close to the frame rail and about 1 foot behind the engine. I can not remember for sure where, and I am not going outside to lay in the snow to find out

. On my first truck with these, I had them a little farther to the outside, and they disappeared after a drive in some deep slushy roads. Lesson learned - lights with metal mounting brackets, and shelter them from potential splash back from the front tire.
Wiring is pretty simple. Two lighted switched on the shifter, power tap from the fuse panel to the switch, ground wire and two feed lines out from the switches to the relays (2) under the hood. Power from the PDC and ground to the relays, power from the relays to the lights. I ran the wiring along the drivers side frame rail, wire tied the passenger side forward light across the transfer case skid plate and the passenger side rear between the bed and the frame rails.
Easy enough?
