I have a 2003 HO 6 speed and for some reason the back up lights aren't working. I took it into the dealership a couple weeks ago and they called me telling me that the bulbs were burned out but since it has 21K on it they couldn't warranty it. Well tonight I went outside and took the covers off to replace the bulbs and all the bulbs were fine. Has anyone else had a problem with the back up lights not working?? BTW the fuse it good.

You mean to tell me they just assumed the bulbs were burnt out??? I think it's time to take it back to the dealer and start things out with a good dumb-slap!

The dipsh*t service guy called me and told me that tech looked at my truck and the reason for the lights not working is because the bulbs were burned out. He then continued to tell me that the connector for the back up light bulbs had power going to it. I think I need to call tomorrow and talk to the service manager and get his opinion on the situation. There is a lot more to the story I just don't want to get all worked up before I go to bed. LOL

My 03 came with 3year/36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. Those bulbs should be under warranty also. Even under the 12 month/12,000 mile warranty there's no mention that bulbs are excluded. Tell that service tech if my math is correct you have another 2 years, and 15,000 miles to go. Just for the record as far as warranty goes.
