My back up lights have failed. :{ I looked for a fuse but could not find one. I have a six speed so I assume there is a switch somewhere. I looked under the trany but didn't see it there. Thought I would check with you guys first before looking under the rubber shift lever cover..... Mak

Sounds like a problem I had last year. It started with the reverse lights working intermittently, the only once in a while. I didn't drive to much at night, so I didn't notice right away.

The dealer (under warranty) replaced the reverse switch & the wires going in to the connector. I haven't looked for the switch to hard, & I don't remember seeing it when I installed FAST COOLERS on the transmission earlier this year.

Good Luck,

Troy

Look on the transmission extension (right side?). It's the only thing with wires going to it on the NV5600! You can test the backup lamp circuit - minus the switch - by jumping the two conductors in the plug that you remove from the switch. The key has to be in the run position.

Thanks..... I didn't want to take it to the dealer for such a trivial item. I will look at the trany again and see if I can find it... . Mak

I did this exactly about a year ago. Dealer fixed under warranty.
