Backup camera for slide in camper

I want to find a backup camera that will plug into the existing wiring harness so I can mount it on my slide in camper since I have to take my tailgate off when I use the camper. Anybody crossed this bridge before?

Rostra brand. $300. Will plug into your existing tailgate with gate off. It has long cord and I put some 3 m Velcro on the camera lower lip of roof top ainpm camera down. Wrap cord around roof ladder so I can take off in the winter
