Backup camera harness

Hello all new to the forum. 2013 Ram 3500 DRW. Hope someone can answer this question. Had to replace backup camera, connected to part 68189124ac short wiring harness at camera..there is a 2 pin connector with 2 wires...duh, v/LG and l grn/dark grn. It is a female connector , no corresponding male found, could it be for power lock? Any help will be appreciated.

I think you are right. What I find odd is your truck came with a back up camera but not electric locking tailgate. I would have thought that would be a standard feature at that trim level.

No wasn't there , my 14 was totaled in Abilene..crazy lady not paying attention..found my answer last night...thanks for your response
