Anybody running a Catcher and a Redline Box?

My FASS electrical system is slowly getting worked out (love the filtering and flow, hate the electricals). I know the RASP uses the factory lift pump as a backup. Is there a good, inexpensive pump that the FASS could use as a backup? I would like to keep the plumbing as simple as possible. Can the FASS push through another pump if it's not running, or vice versa?

I'm just trying to figure out the best, and simplest backup system for the FASS that will still allow the FASS to operate reliably when not used.

I was thinking of running a relay off the low fuel pressure light switch to turn it on, but, beyond that, I'm not sure what pump to use, how the tubing should be setup (do I need a bypass setup? check valves? or can one just push straight through the other?)

Thanks,

Pump

what I did was took off my good stock lift pump and installed barbed fittings into it. . and put it under my seat. if I have a failure I can cut the line near the fass and install the stock pump. the fass will flow fuel when off.

Well, I was hoping for something switched automatically, so pressure never drops below acceptable levels (I have experienced this before - even one, slight, short-term drop below the required levels, and the pump is done. This thing is rediculously fragile - makes running out of fuel an $800-$1400 mistake if it occurs).

Anyways, reading some other posts, I came up with splicing the hose on either end of the FASS, and installing -6AN Tee fittings, connecting them to a Holley Black pump, and putting a check valve on the pressure side. I have a pressure switch already, so I figured I could set the switch up to a relay, and power the pump off the relay. How does that sound? Not too expensive, and sounds to me like a perfect backup system, with minimal extra stuff.

Any thoughts?
