Bad crankshaft sensor, not sure how it happened
I just installed my Rokktech crankshaft sensor and found my factory sensor was damaged. I have pics in my Webshots account in my truck profile, I don't know how to link them here.
The really strange part is that the damage is to the sensor side that is 180 degrees to the tone wheel. It's like the sensor was ground down by something, and there are internal guts and some kind of white, stringy paste exposed.
I can't wait to drive the truck tomorrow and see what a difference an undamged and modified sensor will make.
