Bad for auto trans ??

I noticed that when slowing down at highway speeds that if I let almost all the way off of the go pedel the torque converter stays locked and the truck slows down quicker than if I let all the way off the pedel and the torque converter unlocks.



Is this bad on the automatic transmission?

I don't think this will harm the trans. I also switch off the OD to slow down while towing. bg
