Hey guys-

On my 96 2500, the headlight switch only works when it is in a certain position (its worn out)... . However, in 98 the switch was replaced under the recall by the original owner. If I go back to a Dodge dealer, will they replace it since it was under recall one time? Or are these recalls a 1 time deal?

Thanks

Erik

The dealer should fix under the recall. My 94 burned up the entire wire harness for the headlight switch prior to the recall coming out. Paid the dealer like $300 to repair. When the recall came out I wrote Dodge and explained. They refunded my $300 repair bill.

Lucky the truck didn't burn down!!!

Headlight switch

Had my switch replace by the dealer because of the recall. The old switch worked fine. About 18 months later the new switch started giving me problems. Headlights would work, but I had no clearance lights or tail lights.

:--) I took it back to the dealer and they replaced the switch for free. :--)
