Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Bad Lift Pump?

I just finished installing my gauges. Went with the BD X-monitor. EGT and Boost seem fine, but fuel pressure seems out of whack. I am only getting 2. 0-2. 1 at idle and dropping to zero with just a little load on the engine. If the fuel pressure really is zero, shouldn't the truck stall out?

truck will still run with zero psi. just not good for the injection pump



better get a replacement or check with a mechanical gauge

Well, Ive got 48k on my truck and I am on my third pump. I would not drive it until I had a new lift pump on. Acqaintance of mine just had his VP replaced due to a bad lift pump. He said it ran fine, then the check engine light came on, he kept driving to get home, injection pump junk. Covered under warranty. Guess who is interested in gauges now?
