I have been a very long time member of TDR. I did trade my all 2007 1 ton dually mighty Cummins on a 2015 2500 crew cab, 6.4 Hemi. I don't pull as much I as used to and this one a good buy of me. Has been a long time since I had such a
new truck. I just cant afford the extra for the Cummins, so I did trade down on engine. I don't run many miles any more, which did make my decision to trade. I wish the best of luck to all of you!

Looks like you have a pretty cool ride to me! I was just telling my wife that I love the looks of the 4th Gens with a flatbed. So it doesn't have a diesel, doesn't mean you can't hang around here anymore.

And look at the bright side! You didn't settle for a Ford or Chevy! :)

Nice Truck. No need to bail on us, cuz there's still a lot of good info about our Trucks that still applies to your new rig.
I can totally understand not needing the diesel engine if your not using it for what its intended to do. Happy New Year, and enjoy your new rig.

What most people don't think about stepping down to a gasser is resale value. The gassers drop drastically every year in value and the diesels don't. The money you saved on the gasser will be gone in a couple years in the blue book. Something big to consider.....

I have never purchased anything in my life based on resale value. I purchase things because I want them, not because someone else might want them down the road. Stepping down to a gasser, that’s funny!

Buying a truck for re-sale value isn't a great move. You buy the truck that meets your needs and your budget. Sounds like DDT had neither the need nor the budget for a Cummins. The only reason I have the CTD is because I found a used 2015 CTD when I was looking for a new 2015 Ford or Ram gasser. I didn't have the need... but the used Cummins met my budget.

I agree with the others, stick around and spread your wisdom. While you don't have a Cummins, you have a Gen4 Ram and there is plenty of discussion about those here. Stay warm!!!

Need to do what you need to do.. nice truck! Had an 04 dually Cummins paid 39000. Sold it 2 years ago for 25000... it was a stick with 4:10s..
