Bad pcm

I have a 2003 and the voltage regulator part of the pcm has gone bad. I need to know if there is a way to use an aftermarket voltage regulator and bypass that part of the pcm, so I dont have to buy a new one. Please advise.

Yes... you can rig up an after market voltage regulator and abandon the one internal to the PCM. Do a search here on the forum as it was discussed in detail within the past year I believe. You might find it in a 2nd generation thread.

The PCMs are inter-changeable, so spec a use one on car-part. com about $175. 00 for a good one.
