I took delivery of my new truck last tuesday and am really happy with it. I started immediately with the add ons etc. I brought it over to the tint shop to have the windows done on it and opted for the top of the line stuff that has the lifetime warranty and as such excpected top of the line service. I broght the truck back to my shop and we checked over the tint and found carpet fibers in various areas along the back window. I immediately called them and scheduled it to go back wednsday to get redone @ no charge. In the meantime i bring the truck to the local line x shop to have the bedliner installed on this past monday. I picked up the truck monday afternoon and parked it. I went out tuesday to check over the line x due to the fact it was pouring out when i picked it up on monday and what do i find but a gouge on the front corner of the truck as well as paint marks on the rh mirror. So i call the line x shop and tell them and he tells me that it definetly didnt happen there and i say ok i will check into other possibilities of how it could have happened. So i go to pickup the truck at the tint shop and told that they had a problem with my truck and that they burned my headliner and that they will pay for the repair($725) By now i am getting pi**** off and take the truck to the line x shop and find that the trim on their shop matches the paint marks on my truck exactly. The owner agrees but still insists that it didnt happen there. He refuses to discuss it further but is willing to remove some line x overspray from my cab and wipes off the paint mark on the mirror he didnt do. He flat out refused to pay for the repair work($147) at the dealer and i still had to remove the adhesive fro the tape they used to cover my truck . terrible service i would recommend line x bit not this particular business.

Sunmasters in Portland is the tint shop. They are doing the right thing by taking care of the repair costs. I would still reccomend them. As we all know s@#@ happens occasionally. Line x of portland did the liner. The liner is a great product and would still recommend it but if the shop cannot be careful with a customers truck regardless of the value they should not recieve our business. A little overspray is a bad prep job and leaving adhesive on my truck is just careless. Scratching my truck and not taking responsibility for it is completely unacceptable!!

For the same type of reasons, I've now started to do a "walk around" inspection of my truck whenever anyone works on it. Too often I notice a scratch, dent or whatever a day later and can't say with 100% certainty, where it came from.

I second the walk around the truck idea. I had my truck line-x'd in Chester, VA and they did an excellent job. Line-x is a franchise I believe so I'd contact corporate. Good luck. Chris
