Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) bad starter

I was just wondering if anyone else has had problems with new starters. I've been thru 3 in the last 6 mo. I just put one in three days ago and its hardly turning the motor over now... . each time the starter works great for awhile then starts turning over slower and slower... batteries are new and well charged. any idea's

Hello. Try opening up the starter and check the contacts. The contacts are adjustable and often are not installed properly. You can adjust the contacts so they hit at the same time. Hope this helps, Mike
