I removed the silencer ring today and don't notice much of a change in sound. Now are you guys removing the baffles?? Does it change the sound??

Thanks.

Answer is yes. A five " hole in the bottom of the air box helps along with removing the crosspiece in the baffle. I used a 2lb dead blow hammer on the baffle housing until the glued on end piece cracked the began to crack, then pried it off with a couple of wood chisels. Baffle will slide right out. Then just epoxy the end back on ! BTW , corragated 5" drain pipe extends the new air box opening down in front of the fenderwell nicely... ... ... ... ... ... .
