Bakersfield Area Meet

Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

Anything Happening in the NorthWest in June/July 2002?

Any NW Bombers going to Pahrump?

Are any of you Central Cal guys interested in some kind of happening. Just to talk trucks or maybe some track time at Fomosa raceway. Possibly a run through the Sierra's. Let's get something going

Central Valley TDR members

Is Turkey day and the weekend OK? We could all show up some where Dirty Sox, or Scotty's Castle and them just explore, hang out BS, talk trucks etc. Way cool. ;)

Besides the family meets less than a month later at XMAS right? Why not spend a holiday with friends? There are no STRANGERs just friends we haven't met yet!!! :D

OK... :( :( :( Now you have done it. . I have 4 days planned at Pismo and this happens. . I think I'm going to cry. .

Have a great time and keep me posted on the next run...

Rick, Pismo will always be there. Besides, it'll probably be cold, damp and windy there ;) .

But the desert, well what else can be said.

Lana and I usually go racing for Turkey day and the weekend one year and the next year we go some where else. Last year we raced Thurs. , Fri. and Sat.

Again, why meet family for Turkey day and then 3 weeks later for XMAS? (You gotta understand our families  .

Dead Thread

I think the Get together died with the thread before yours.

I'm still game for a local get together or a trip to Death Valley

Missed it by that Much.

My Wife and I just got back from Our honeymoon in Death Valley. Had a Great Time There. We stopped by Ubehebe Crater,Scotties Castle,Ballarat(sp?),The Racetrack,Furnace Creek. The Stars are amazing out there.
We stayed at the Motel in Stovepipe wells. Very Nice for being the only Motel out there in that area. LOL...

Another Death Valley Trip Sounds Good to Me!. I need to Check out the Goller Wash Trail for Jeep'n!. .
I have been to Pahrump NV,Goldfield NV, Rhyolite NV, And Beaty NV, All of them are Neat Places to Vist. I need to buy a "Whites" Metal Detector for our Next Desert Excursion.

Here's a intresting website www.ghosttowns.com

What about a 4x4 Run?

A 4x4 run up thru Keysville on the Freeway Pass trail to Rancheria Rd up to Alta Sierra and back down to Lake Isabella to Booger King for Lunch?.

The Freeway Pass trail is Maintained by the Bakersfield Trail Blazers 4x4 Club.

I have run this trail in My CTD, Jeep Cherokee, and on my Polaris Sportsman 500HO.

Its about 4-5hrs long if you go real slow with a club.

I would NOT want to run it in the Snow or mud though, Not enough trees to keep the Vehicle from Sliding over a 1500ft drop off!.

Jsmith;
It was Good to meet You and BS awhile.
We have to go shoot'n sometime soon!
I'll bring Springfield M1A1's and the Sendero 300winmag to burn up some rounds.
I was afraid of getting busted there at Wards parking Lot. .
I still say that the Tulare Meet Should Also have "Free Style or figure Burnouts".
Like you I too am a Shift worker, So getting the same time off might be hard to work out. .
Lets compare work schedules sometime.

RHarvey; Yeah I think there is A Railcar Steakhouse Somewhere around Porterville.
My Stomach is Growl'n already!
