Put a set of Balance Masters on this weekend. In case you are searching, the P/N for the 2500 Ram is the MHD-206R for the factory rims. It's a different number for the 3500 duallies.

I had corrected my 70 MPH vibration by rotating the drive shaft 180 degrees at the differential. There were still times above 70 when I would get an out of balance feel. I took a test run and can tell a difference. The "right seat shake" was pretty much corrected with the drive shaft rotation but occasionally, when running a long distance at a steady 65-70, I would see it moving. It looks like the Balance Masters took the final bit of vibration out. I'm taking a 1300 mile round trip this coming weekend and will know for sure how they do.

I put wheel and driveline balancers on 3 of our trucks, its made them incredibly smoother and quieter. I love them and will not hesitate in installing them on other trucks.

I also have the Balance Masters and enjoy them.

However I have recently had vibration problems which i could hear and feel in the seat.

I found that the rubber mount holding the center carrier bearing was bad. So I replaced it with one from NAPA to the tune of $100. 00 after trying several other parts stores.

That took away most of the vibration but I still had a little vibration around 60mph and above so I took out the driveshaft again yesterday and found that the one of the rear u-joint cups seal had failed and the needle bearings where gone. Stupid me for not checking the u-joints when I replaced the carrier bearing last week.

No more vibration after a test drive today. HO, Ho, Ho. Merry Christmas.

Hope this helps you.
Tom

I'm very happy now. I kept thinking that it was the front drive shaft with all those weights welded on it. Now, it's smooth at all speeds. It even seems to take out the wheel bounce on the rippled roads and bridges.
