2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Ball joint failure

Is it a common thing on Dodges for ball joints to fail with only 36K miles? Luckily my truck is just within warranty so the $1100 bill is covered.

I had mine replaced at 36K also.

But only to correct alignment? They put in the adjustable cam and ball joints then I got it aligned just before 36k. Now 102k and still tight (as far as I can tell) and no tire wear issues yet.

142,400+ miles and no problems...

yet, but I need to check them. On my '92 I still have the originals after 230,000 + miles.
