Do you need a press and if so what would be the best kind for ball joints and for the front wheel bearing (the sealed one)???? I want to save some money and do this myself. The dealer wants over a grand just to do the ball joints :--) Please help...

Talk to quad4x4.com they will send you the parts and the tools needed to do the job. If the ball joints and bearing are anything like the 2nd gen ones you don't "need" a press. You can hammer the ball joints in and out. Or some shops will charge about 60-100 to press the ball joints in and out for you if you take the knuckles in to them. This is coming from experience on 2nd gens not 3rd so hopefully this helps.
