The dealer replaced my ball joints about 10k ago and now the outter edges of my tires are feathering. Is this a ball joint issue or a toe adjustment issue?

Tire wear

What you are experiencing is the way I got my truck from the factory, it cost me over $5000. 00 for their incompentency. The dollarshop should have done a wheel alignment. You have too much toe-in with the tires. :(

Is there any replacement ball joints out on the market which are better than stock? My boss has an 02 4x4 dually and is going to put 22. 5's on but wants to replace his wore out ball joints first (36k). He was hoping to get something better but I didnt know so I figured you guys might be able to help. Thanks for all help in telling me there is none, stock only or there is some better aftermarket ball joints. Phone numbers, names, etc. appreciated.

I put Moogs on mine... wouldn't use anything else... My tires were hammered in 25K miles before I replaced the ball joints, and aligned the front end... also tightened up my Lukes Link while I was under there... I think the BJ's were crap from day one...

Moog

I was going through excessive tire wear until I had the tie rods, ball joints, and track bar replaced with the Moog components. I also added the DSS and have been problem free ever since.
