Ball joint wear spec?

I noticed definate play in all four of my ball joints. I brought it to Dodge to have it checked under warranty and they said it was under the spec of . 060. Does this soundright?



While they claim nothing was wrong with my balljoints they did find play in both of my hubs at 30k and are replacing them.

According to the 2003 Shop Manual, the maximum play for both upper and lower ball joints is . 020 per pages 2-18 and 2-26
