Ball park price?

Hey guys,



My fath-in-law has a 1990 12v with 198,xxx on the clock. It has a bit of rust at the bottom of the passanger door and a little over the top of the rear driver's tire. Otherwise it is in good shape.



It is a 2wd, with no mods ever done. I would be willing to bet it has never seen any speeds over 65mph. He is religious about the 3000 mile oil changes and other maintainance.



Any ballparks on what he can sell it for?

It is an automatic 2500. It also has a fiberglass topper on it that has seen better days.

I sold a 1990 last May for $3500. 00 with around the same milage as your father's truck, just to give you an idea (there is a picture of it in my readers rigs). Mine was a 4X4 with a five speed though. It also had some of the roof rust that is common with these trucks so that affected the selling price also.

$3000 would be good if you got it. 3sp slop-o-matic, 2wd, no intercooler, etc etc, not exactly the best combo.
