Can't say that I've been waiting... but after watching the first two parts, I think I'm hooked. Waiting for it to come back on again tonight to catch what I missed of the first part.

I thought about subscribing to HBO just for this mini series. But, then I figured it would come out on video at some point, so why bother. It looks awesome.

There is no way Today you could Get Young men to do the Kinds of things the Greatest Generation Did for their Counrty. Period!. It is Truely a sad state of affairs now a days.

I watched it last night, and I too am hooked. I was truly glued to my seat!!!



AMAZING Camera Work & Real Life Graphicness



I was amazed at the story line and the accomplishments of "Easy Co. "



What about the “German Soldier from Eugene, Washington? That was an emotional point in the show.



I was also moved by the Veteran interviews that they show at the beginning of each program, I especially liked the comment that one gentleman made when discussing the difference between today’s military and his military. “Our Country Was Attacked, you bet we were going to volunteer”.



I wonder if it ever came to that again would my generation “Volunteer” like our Grandfathers did?



Absolutely a MUST SEE!!!!

Thought it was great. Signed up for HBO on DirectTV just to watch this series. It only cost $12 extra. First episode was worth it alone. I plan to cancel HBO when series is over.
