Anybody have any tips before I tear this thing apart. If I crack the line at the injector pump will the electric pump push the air out of the lines?

I fill my fuel canister before I install it, turn the key over and let it build pressure, fires right up. I have changed it several times and never had to bleed the banjo fittings.

I hope my lift pump is not bad. cracked the top of the fuel filter and then turn the key to get some fuel into the bowl. It runs for a second maybe two and then shuts off. Had to siphon some fuel from the tank to fill the bowl. I didn't replace the banjo bolts yet, till I figure out if this lift pump is bad.

You only turned the key on? Did you "bump" the starter? Meaning... act like your going to start the truck. . but let off teh ignition before it fires up. If you just turned the key to the "on" position then your lift pump will only run a couple of seconds at best.
