I saw a post over on iRV2.com about Bank of the West interest rates. The poster had received a notice from Good Sam offering to refinance his RV at 6. 5% so he called Bank of the West to get payoff info and mentioned that he was going to refinance with Good Sam. They then matched the offer.



Sounded good to me so I called up and got my rate reduced from 12% to 7% over the phone. That knocks 2 months off my payment term.



Give it a try if you're financed by them or maybe another company.

Finding a finance company for an RV got a little harder when CONSECO bit the dust. Also, CIT stopped financing RVs.



My local bank matched the 6. 5% when I financed my RV last month.
