Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Banks 4 inch Exhaust

What I am looking for if someone has a muffler eliminator pipe 4 inch in and 4 inch out for banks 4 inch stainless exhaust?

That question came up on here once before. I think the answer was Banks sells them.

I was the one who asked that question. Banks does not sell them. I called and spoke to Banks and they said "No Way!". SOmething about it not conforming to emissions / noise pollution laws and the like and them being a good environmental citizen.



I called and spoke to DPP (http://www.dieselperformanceparts.com/). They said they had a 4" piece of MBRP stainless pipe that is fluted on both ends and just happens to be the same length as the Banks monster muffler (36"). I ordered it and now have it installed. Mine was a pain becuse they REALLY welded the muffler in on the original install. It does fit perfectly though.

What you're after is a 30 inch (be sure to verify this) 4 inch expanded at each end tube. We have sold a lot of them to folsk in both aluminized and 409 stainless.

My muffler replacement pipe was 36". Best to get under the truck and measure yours. I believe it was like $48 with shipping from DPP.
