I have a 4''

Banks products are high quality and will fit right in perfectly with no modifications but you'll pay the price. From what I understand their exhaust system prices dropped about $400 six months ago so they're more competitive now. Stainless is the only way to go if you live where road ice melter/salt is used. For what it's worth, I don't recall anyone here complaining of the infamous exhaust drone with a Banks system.

I agree... I don't believe Banks builds 5" exhaust systems for our Rams (or anything else for that matter).

I purchased one of the earliest Banks 4" dia. s/s exhaust systems... the price I paid was pretty much what they go for now and yes, the drone is (was in my case... :D ) ever present.

BANKS 4" S/S EXHAUST SYSTEM WITH 5" TIP

I've had the Banks 4" S/S exhaust system on mine since Dec 02'. Believe me, I was very concerned about all the opinions on good and bad systems. Especially dronning. I was afraid of a poor fit and ease of installation too. I have no complaints whatsoever. No resonating, dronning or anything negative. The Banks system is a good improvement, both in sound and performance. Your signature does not indicate if you have an automatic or stick shift. If yours is a stick, an exhaust brake is the "absolute greatest thing" to add when you do the 4" exhaust. I also chose the 4" exhaust brake, so my Banks system is as close as I can get to having a real/true 4" system (with a 5" tip):D :p Everything from the backside of the turbo to the 5" tip, fit like a "glove".

There are several manufacturers that can meet your needs regarding an exhaust system or exhaust brake. I would highly recommend not buying on price only. The nightmare of saving a few bucks and living with a lousy exhaust system is not to your advantage. Review a few members thoughts on the TDR search option. Then the choice is yours. It would be worth your time to see/hear the exact system you want, before you buy it. That's what I did.

My response to your post is only to express my satisfaction with my Banks system. It was real easy for this old dog to install too. I found the price was not the "cheapest" but as a package, I found the price inline with what was else was available. My only recommendation is to install it yourself. I was able to get a really good price by purchasing my system directly from the manufacturer. :D :D Jim

Mike, Yes, it's mandrel bent. The system is a 4" S/S sytem with a 5" tip.

Everything is first rate, the bends are very clean with no collapsed/compressed sections. without striations (or) mandrel grooves. The welds (for the hangers) are real nice too.

:D :D :D :D :D Jim

When I bought the Jannetty 4" system, they also told me they sell Banks too. The banks had a drone, there system didnt, was what I was told. I bought theirs, still have the drone:( ,it sounds better than the Jardine though:D

I bought the 4" Banks Exhaust along with their Exhaust Brake and the 4" downtube. The kit is awesome, simple to install and sounds great.

The E-Brake hooks in all electronically and it is BAD ASS!
