Does anyone know when Banks will have their new dual exhaust for the 3rd Gen. Rams? I was told end of summer back in May of this year. They are already advertising this new exhaust, but so much I hear it is not available yet.

I know some folks here don't like Banks, but I've had their exhuast systems on my last two trucks and never once had a problem.

I think the exhaust is sweet (single)

I also think the duals will be nice. I hope they make a conversion. I'll be ordering one.

No word yet on a date.

Banks waste of money

I think Banks exhaust is big waste of big bucks for 2004. 5 & newer RAMS. Ditch factory muffler for new high flow one.

I think Cumminz is right. The 04. 5 and newer factory exhaust systems are 4" and aren't bad except for the muffler. If I had your truck, I'd just get the muffler replaced. I have a long bed with the Banks and it has a bad drone at 2200 RPM that wasn't there with the stock system. I hear other people having the same problem with their long bed trucks. The drone doesn't seem to be a problem with short box trucks. If I had to do it over again I'd do it different.

If I was getting a duals setup I'd probably go with MBRP. Saw a guy with this system at Diesel Thunder last weekend on his 04. 5 and he said he was pretty happy with it. He tows but didn't think it droned much.

I rode in a QC Dually with a TST enhanced SO and NV4500. It sounded killer! If I had known about it before I bought the Banks, I would have gone with the MBRP.

The only downside (I've heard) with the MBRP is the fit. According to the guy who had it, he had to modify the muffler mounts for it to fit properly. He said that the stainless system fit better in his previous truck than the aluminized system he just installed.
