Banks EX Review

I posted last week about a bad experience I had with a rep from Banks but still bought the exhaust system(the price was right)!



The install went flawlessly!No modifications needed whatsoever

It seems that the exhaust temps came down about 100* at cruise but I havent pulled my trailer yet. Ill post the temps next week when I haul my toyhauler. The sound is very throaty and the sop feel is up slightly. You can feel there is more throttle response. Overall Id recommend it. Talk to Damien at Torque and Chrome. Great service and prices!!

Is this the Monster exhaust? Did you remove the cat or resonator that is before the muffler?

Yes it is the monster exhaust. This particular kit comes w/o the soot collector.

The Monster exhaust is available in a cat and no-cat versions depending on if the truck has a cat or not. The Banks system down pipe replaces the cast turbine outlet aaand they have a new style muffler with expansion chamber near the inlet. Our experience has been that they fit and sound excellent.
