2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Banks Exhaust brake failure

Banks Exhaust brake quit functioning, only two years old with low miles and some 5th wheel towing. A/c also quit pumping out cold air about the same time. Only 83K on the 01 2500 4X4, 5sp, ext cab. Really miss my brake, checked all lines, can't find any air leaks, was told it could be a bad controller or Vac pump. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

No mechanic myself BUT if the bands is vacuum operated like my pacbrake and the A/c is controlling the doors by vacuum then maybe you have a bad vacuum line or vacuum pump ED
