Banks Intake Manifold (not air horn)

I was wondering if Banks was ever going to release the intake they did up for the Sidewinder project a few years ago. This is a nice BOMB part for those wanting better porting access and more air loading at the intake ports. For the price it won't rate high on the "bang for the buck" scale but it seems reasonable for what you end up with (but of course you'll have machining costs to prepare the head for it).

If I am not mistaken, it is out. Check on Gale Banks' website. The last two Banks products I bought from Banks directly as well.

Yes it's been out a few months. It'll only work on 3rd Gens because the IP is in the way on other models.

I think Summit on here installed this manifold on his 3rd gen.

So where does your intake air grid heater mount, or is this a strickly off street piece?

If your milling the side off your head and installing one of these the grid heater is long gone.....

That's what I thought. Definitly not something for a street truck. I saw one in the local machine shop. My guess is that the customer had the head there as well.
