Banks Intercooler

Where can I buy just the banks intercooler w/o all the other stuff they sell with there kits. I saw an ad for an intercooler system that came with all the tubes and sutff and it was $995:--) . I can't see a whole lot of difference between a radiator and an intercooler yet you can have a custom aluminum radiator made for about $400 so why the high price for an intercooler?

Sorry to let you know that your screwed. I just replaced my intercooler, I went with a stock one $650. 00 from dealer. Banks had the only other one available for the money you stated.

When I installed a 2nd gen intercooler in the burb I had to remove the top row and I tell you what. They might look like a radiator from the outside but they sure don't from the inside. The rows are almost 2" wide and a strong 1/4" ID. Plus they have a bunch of tiny heat sink fins on the inside of the tube. After seeing the inside of one I understand why they are so expensive.
