I bought my 2001 CTD in February 04. I knew it had some Banks stuff on it, but wasnt sure which till I ripped the dash apart today to find the PowerPack Ottomind crammed up there. The previous owner took the gauges out and cut the wire for the pyro gauge (wire is still there to go to the Ottomind though, so I assume the defuel might work yet if temps get high enough). I've already decided I want to get a Hypertech Power Programmer so I can get some mild, adjustable gains without having to tend to the trans right away and so I can adjust the speedo for the 35s. I've done the searches and lots of reading, but haven't really seen this addressed.

My question is will the Hypertech be able to work with the Ottomind being there yet or will it have to be one or the other?

Second question for anyone currently running the Ottomind or experience with it, theres a blue wire run from the Ottomind to the computer and I have an empty terminal just hanging there, whats supposed to be connected here?

Thanks in advance.

The Blue wire is for transmission controller, if you have a 6 or 5 spd you don't need the wire I am not sure where my book it to tell you where it is suppose to be hooked up at if you have an automatic, but that is what the wire is for.

Found the book, it says tap the blue wire to the Number 11 pin wire at the center PCM connector, thats for automatics only
