Has anyone tried the Banks turbo housing with one of the hybrid turbos being built? I'm looking for a quick, low-end spooling turbo, and I'm wondering if the Banks housing would improve on the hybrids or would it be a waste of money?

I don't really need any more power, I just want to burn the fuel I'm sending out the exhaust right now.

EGT's aren't a problem until I'm over the speed limit, so my stock 12cm housing is fine, but the Banks is advertised as quicker spooling. Thanks, Jeff

don;t know the answer to your question, but banks has always worked for me. priced right, back up their warranty, and good quality product. i guess we all have a vendor we are not real happy about. with me its edge products.

Banks exhaust housing is just a 14cm housing. Same as anyone sells. As far as qucker spooling, what are they comparing it to  If you install a larger housing, as this would be on all stock Dodge CTD's, you will have slower spoolup.

I have the PDR HX35 with the stock 12CM2 housing. I have a

Banks 14 I don't use. IMO the Banks will give you more top end, but the stock 12 will give you faster boost. With the PDR and stock 12 I get boost that JUMPs up quick. I do start and stop driving. If you like your temps, I would stick with the 12.

Thanks for the replies. I'm not sure, yet, which turbo I'm going with, but I'll be keeping my 12cm housing for spool up. Jeff
