Performance wise they offer no improvement, but they do look good. I just really would not want the Banks name under my hood. I have too much "custom" non-package deal work especially when I get twins to make anyone think Banks has anything to do with my hp. I always get asked "do you have that banks kit?" and they promptly get a big "hell no" thats for the girly trucks. You might want to just chrome your current intake manifold.

CUMMINFAST: Thy do offer a positive if you run high HP,NO they dont offer any power increases. but EGts went down on my 500hp truck?just a thought. bbeatty

How much egt increase? and how hard is it to scratch/grind off the banks part?

Yeah, how much decrease in EGT's did you see ? it would have to be pretty substantial for approx $600. you are the first person I have heard say that it did anything other then look good, got numbers ?

I saw a decrease of about 150* on my 96- of course I removed the EGR components at the same time, So I am sure that had something to do with it. I have seen them float around on Ebay and other classifieds for around $300... ... As far as grinding off the "Banks Twin Ram", it is part of the casting but is rasied, I imagine it could easily be ground of if someone really hated Banks that much .
