Need to restart my post. I installed a Banks Stinger-Plus with Quick-tubro years ago,I would have gone with TST if I had known about them at the time. Now I want more HP. Can I up grade to a different TST cam plate and which one?How about sliding the Banks plate foward and adjusting the AFC wheel,Banks doesn't mention these fixes, would this be a cheap way to gain more power?

Hey illflem might want to start with some injectors. It just depends on how much more Power you want. Do you have a 180 or 215 hp motor? No dought the TST plate will give you more power, what do you do with your truck?

Yep, you could go with a new cam plate from TST, or perhaps DD. Sliding your existing one forward/adjusting the AFC will give more power and more smoke. Do you have the aneroid spring? What are your EGT's like now?

Thanks guys,I have 180 HP engine if there is an anerod spring I didn't put it in. I have to really push it to get 1200 on the pryo. Most of the time truck is MT but I have a 1500 lb Alaskan camper. With the camper the hills on I-5 by the CA-OR border will get me down to 50-60mph,pyro up to 1200 but no higher unless I disengage the OD then it will climb fast unless I back off on the throttle. This wouldn't be a problem here in Washington but in Calif. it seems that if you go under 75 mph your'e likely to get rear ended, so I'd like the POWER just to go with the flow. Oh yeah, peak boost is about 22 psi.

If you're looking for a different plate than you currently have, look at the DD. 60hp/160ft-lbs at the rear wheels over stock. They say you don't need gauges or exhaust, so if you already have that, EGTs should be NO problem. Have you done a 16cm2 turbine housing yet? That will drop EGT's like 150 degrees or so.
