TDR MEMBER
Fellow Rammers:

We're gonna have that bigtime barbeque down here in Lothian, MD on Saturday, 20 October, around 1 PM. We're heading to Texas Sunday and will be bringing back some major beef to cook. I'm gonna start cooking the beef real slow about 7 PM on the 19th for anyone who wants to come and hang out.

We're providing the meat, so y'all bring one or more of the following:

salad (potatoe, macaroni, whatever you like)

beans

desert

whatever else you like

drinks

Here's link to our campground for directions and for those who plan on camping too.

We'll be offline until around 15 Oct.

Hope to see everyone here!

Yeehaaww!! :D

Talked to Hammer today and he wondered if we (Mason Dixon TDR members) could meet somewhere in Frederick and convoy down to Wiredawg's on the 20th. Post your opinions.

BBQ Convoy, final leg

For you guys coming from the north and west we can meet up at Rips (Rest/Bar/Grill), at the intersection of MD 50 and MD 301 for the final leg of the convoy. You don't want to get lost in southern MD, lot's of strange things happen down that way :().

Should meet up there around 1 hour before we need to be at the Wiredawgs.

sounds like a good plan to meet. I was counting on going but my wife is not doing well. Dr. appt on tue 10-16. If all goes well enough that I can leave her for a few days I will be there.

Bill

P>S> I was thinking of going down on fri and camp for the weekend. Everything is up in the air now, depending upon how she is.

I'm going to miss out on this one. I hope that you guys have a good time. I was planning on it, but I got to run back to OK for a few days. Seems to be over run with deer, maybe I'll be able to do something about it.

Hopefully I'll see you guys in November.

Dave D. Is this meeting place still the plan? If so, I guess that means we should all be there no later than 12:00. If anyone from the NOrth and west of Frederick is goingwe could meet up at the FSK mall (like for the November meet) at about 10:30 and proceed from there to Rip's.

Additional Instructions

Hey there fellow Mason-Dixon TDR members:

I'm back from Texas. Boy did that truck pull like a big dawg!!:D

Vivian and I hope as many come as can. Also, please feel free to bring perspective members as well. We'll have lots of barbeque and good times.

Please e-mail me or post here that you are coming so I'll be sure to cook the right amount of food.

I thought I'd add some additional instructions for y'all. When you turn into the campground, there is parking on the left. I'll park my rig out there to help mark the spot. I'm located in spot 14, which you can find by walking on the road to the left side of the office, I'm on the second row and second spot behind the office. There's liable to be smoke from the smoker helping mark the spot. Here's the shortcut to campground website.

See y'all on Sat, Wiredawg ;)

Noontime Saturday?

We can meet at Rips at noontime on Saturday. That should give us enough time for a rest stop and to pick up any last minute items and be at the Wiredawgs by 1300.

Rips is actually located at the intersection of MD 197 and MD 3/301 approx. 1 mile south of MD 50 on MD 3/301. It is on the east side of 3/301 located between the Home Depot and the Xtra Fuels gas station. It is a relatively famous local landmark.

If you are coming from Frederick you probably want to take I 70 east to MD 32 south to MD 3/301 south. It may be a couple of miles longer but should keep you away from any traffic problems related to the DC area.

Rip's

Sounds like a plan to me! Was thinking of going that way for the same reasons you mentioned. See you Saturday.

Cant miss out on the BBQ. We would enjoy meeting up in Frederick with the other members on Saturday for the ride down.

Md barbeque

Wiredawg,

I will be there. Leaving on Friday sometime to camp there for the weekend. I'll be alone, wife can't come. I'm not much of a food preparer so I thought I would bring a case of beer and junk food snax.

Bill

I will not be able to make it this weekend. We have had reservations for camping in Gettysburg since early this year. I will see you all in November at the Cummins open-house.

Scratch me for tomorrow. I really wanted to make this but had important matters to tend to today. For me to come down tomorrow I'd have to leave about 5 am. Be a longggg day.

See you all in November at the Cummins store.

Thanks for Coming

Hey guys:

We enjoyed having everyone over and look forward to many future events. Our new Mason-Dixon TDR Chapter is shaping up great as a group of family oriented folks with the common bond of owning Ram Diesels and sharing fun times together.

Some of our members couldn't make it due to family illnesses. Let's all pray for their quick and complete recovery.

Thanks for coming and making the cook out a success.

Everyone take care and hope to see you in Glen-Burnie at the Cummins dealer on November 10.
