Hey I purchased a Superchips Digital Propane injection kit from Xtreme Diesel right before christmas. I opened the box shortly after new years and realized there was a bracket missing. I called Superchips knowing they would direct me to their head company MSD, which they did. I talked to some lady at MSD she said that she would need proof of purchase. i didnt have a fax machine or email address in the cab of my truck on the side of the highway (dont get phone reception at home, no land line), so I called Xtreme Diesel and they sent MSD proof of purchase. MSD never did call me back like she said. I waiting 45 minutes on the side of the road for her response. finally I called her back and she said " oh... yeah we got confirmation from xtreme diesel the part is on the way". I NEVER RECIEVED THE BRACKET THEY NEGLECTED TO SHIP IN THE 1ST PLACE. Xtreme Diesel wasnt my favorite either so it was a last time purchase from them too. but now I use NGM Diesel so its cool and couldnt ask for better service.
3 weeks or so ago I filled out a thing on superchips website. they were looking for trucks like mine with cumminG's (lol thats what he said in a email response) for product developement. and IN TURN YOU CAN RECIEVE FREE PARTS!!!!! but it turns out my truck was too moddified for him if I removed everything but the AFE, banks technicooler with high ram, and straight pipe. but he wanted to know everything about the tuners I had on the truck and the turners I have tried, boost and egt numbers too. Then I mentioned I was unsatisfied with superchips/MSD over the whole bracket thing not coming with the kit. he told me he knew would pull some strings over at MSD to try to get me the brakcet. asked me my address and all. Now its been a week and still havent heard back from him. and I dont have a name or number as we were talking by email and I forgot his name and cant find the emails.
OVERALL ALL I REALLY WANT NOW IS A PIC OF THE BRACKET AND HOW IT LOOKS MOUNTED SO THAT I CAN INSTALL THE DERN REGULATOR ASSEMBLY FOR THE PROPANE. MSD/SUPERCHIPS IS SOOOOOO LOVING THE PROFITS OF NOT SENDING ME THE BRACKET AS PROMISED. EVEN THOUGHT THE BRACKET WAS CHEAPER THAN FEEDING A DOG TO CRAP IN YOUR YARD.
I have tried all else trying to communicate with superchips/msd to get the brakcet they neglected to package with the kit when i bought it new so heres my attempt at bashing them to come forward to me. if they can make it right I can make it right here on TDR. until then heres what it is... ... ..... hopefully convincing people to find another company for their needs.
