Just bought the Sears P-2 last week. It will fit if the lower "lip" around the body is trimmed off. If I had it to do over I'd probably buy the P-1. It does have a lower CCA 880 vs 930 but the OEM batteries had a CCA of 750 by the Service Manual. The biggest factor would be there would not be an alteration question if the warranty were needed. Do a search, lots of info about the Sears Platinum batteries.

Yeah usually run the interstate magatrons which are at least 800cca the thing that got me about the p betteries is the 4 year full buy back warranty which blows away interstate. On my 96 it looks like i can trim the ridges in the rear of the plastic tray to get the room I need. I didnt make it to sears today so i will remeasure tomorrow and make my choice on group size.

Thanks
Ken

I get my batteries at Costco. I don't know if they're the best, but they have the best warranty and the best prices. They also last me as long as any brand.
