Costco used my bad batteries as the core, and restarted the clock. It was a no cost restart of my warranty.

It's all up to the department manager. I had a a-hole that wouldn't warranty tires so I went to Discount and no problem. Wrote an email to Costco and will not buy tires there again.They wouldn't do that for me (using old batt. for core)
I like Costco's service and price but we got an un-repairable flat on our Honda Pilot's Michelins. P235-70-16 a very common size. Nothing in stock in all of San Diego. The manager said it would be 7-8 days for the replacement to come from the east coast. That's where they get their Michelins. He ended up sending me to Discount and said bring me back the receipt. It was Michelin tires. They wanted certified receipts of the tires being rotated by a certified technician. Now there are some things I do not know or do but spinning lug nuts and rolling tires around is not on the list. I printed out the tire rotation maint. list but they said that was no good, both front and back tires with the same wear pattern was no good also. Discount disagreed and said they could tell they have been rotated and did the warranty.Very odd as you gave the bad batteries. Never heard of needing a core for a warranty return.
Any thoughts on that idea?
