Does anyone know for sure what gauge our battery cables are? My terminal ends are shot and I want to try cutting them off and crimping on eyelet terminals and use Hummer battery terminal ends. Hoping to not replace the entire cables, they're fine. Just need to know what size terminals.

thanks!!!

Yep, 2/0 factory.

After pricing everything with buying a crimped and cable and lugs etc I went with cables from custom battery cables, they arrived Ina few days and are very well done.

Thanks guys! I made my repairs a few weeks ago... The cables are 1/0 except the positive to the starter, which is 2/0. I first tried a Harbor Freight hydraulic crimper, but the dies were very undersized vs the markings, and they don't claim to go to 2/0 anyway. Maybe they're for solid wire, which is allegedly smaller than the same gauge stranded wire or maybe they're just crap. Anyway, I got another crimper on Amazon, better apparent quality for less money, and it worked perfectly. The cables had plenty of length to reach the Hummer terminals with the new lugs attached, and I finally have reliable battery connections again!
