Can a stock lift pump supply enough fuel & pressure for a 400 hp motor or do I need to go with a elec. pump?
second Question does it do any harm to start the motor in 25 to35 degree temp. with out using the grid heater
I can not get my wife to remember to wait for it.

I really appreciate all the help I get from everybody. learning new things takes time and people willing to share
what they know. THANK YOU for your help.

I made 621 with My old 12v and the stock lift pump.
Grids are not as critical in the temps you describe, however, much colder and she needs to learn to wait a bit.

Starting it without waiting for the grids to cycle won't hurt anything except fuel economy. Even after 18 years of ownership I still sometimes forget.
