Battery Heater Blankets

was wondering if anyone has something like this. Weird that I didn't have much if any trouble in MT with batteries but in IN the batteries seem to be hit hard with the cold. They were replaced when we moved here 1.5 years ago.

I stock a GM version which is made by Phillips Temro. Get them right from my local GM dealer.

We use them to wrap the DEF tanks on the Fuso trucks......the factory heater won't cut it unless you keep the tank warm overnight.

Part Number 10952544. The ones I get are not Yellow, that may be an older picture in the link below.

I purchased the Mopar OEM units and spliced them into the block heater. Then I read that the blankets are not necessary for AGM batteries. Is that correct?

No it isn't, every battery is better of when warm.
No matter how she's made.

There is a small difference between the word "necessary" and "helpful".

A Block heater isn't necessary either but helpful.
